This event took place at the Denver Newspaper Agency and had the pleasure of attending. The panelists were a representative from; Level 3, Denver Newspaper Agency, Echostar, The Integer Group, and Google. It was interesting to see how these companies are different amongst the new era we live into day. The comparison between traditional media (newspaper, print) and with new media (internet, multimedia) was highly informative.

I learned that advertising dollars grew only 0.7% in 2007. Companies are relying more and more on the internet for advertising as it is less expensive. Will direct mail ever go away? It is the most expensive method in selling a product or service as companies are expected to pay for the cost of the design, distribution, mail, and postage. It will be interesting to see over time as it changes or diminishes. Interest article posted on this blog about just that –> http://www.directcreative.com/blog/
