Texture Inspired

While playing around with various textures and moving the paint around the canvas, my intent was to create a sun appear out of the clouds. The various mediums used to create texture throughout was crackle paste, pen, acrylic paint, and gel medium. Having the sun emerge from the clouds was not intended to be most dominant in this piece, it was supposed to be the clouds, as I was painting a series. The yellows with black pen created enough contrast to stand out.

How these colors relate to healthcare and wellness

Often blues tend to appear on healthcare provider websites. United Health Care, Cigna, Humana to name a few have blues or hints of the other colors in the mentioned palette.  Blues tend to be very relaxing and soothing, reminding us of calmness in the night time. Blue also represents water.
