Email Tips for Time Management
- Keep a folder on hard drive that contains all personal emails. Set up rules (i.e. Entourage) for friends that go into folder. Discipline yourself to look at email at certain times of day (not during business hours, or only on breaks). Entourage: Tools/Rules/New
- Keep a folder for each client name. Set up a rule for each client name to go in adjacent folder. Remind yourself not to look at email after business hours, this helps to keep your personal life seperated from work life. This one took a couple of years to master.
